This home renovation project by Heritage Builders is taking custom to the next level.
The main floor was completely remodeled from the kitchen to the laundry room, and it is absolutely stunning. Feel free to read on for a few details about the project, but don’t miss the pictures at the end!
The living room remodels features gorgeous tile laid throughout the space, and new windows were installed to ensure years of comfort. Check out that view! The custom storage surrounding the fireplace was built by the Heritage Builders Team and wow, does it showcase the area perfectly! The mounted lighting on the surround really makes a statement. The staircase features a gorgeous design and custom woodwork by the Heritage Team. Be sure to check out the matching media cabinet, custom-built by the Heritage Team, as well!
The kitchen was gutted and brought back to life with beautiful custom cabinetry that allows for organization and storage all the way to the ceiling. The calming color shows off the stunning quartz countertops in polished white for the island and honed concrete quartz on the remaining countertops. The double wall ovens at the end of the custom island are ready to stand the test of time. Every kitchen needs great storage and one look at the custom-built shelving in the pantry shows just how beautiful storage can be. The wet bar showcases the custom cabinetry as well and provides plenty of storage just to the right of the kitchen. The doors leading to the porch have been expanded and feature an amazing pocket door that can be opened and closed with just one finger.
The half bath just down the hall from the kitchen is a refreshing pop of color and was updated with beautiful vanity and new finishes. When our customers have a vision for their home, Heritage Builders is always ready to custom design and build exactly the right pieces to bring that dream into reality.
While we can describe this remodel in a thousand different ways, the pictures really are the highlight of this post. Be sure to scroll through all of the before and after images below!
From a young age accuracy, integrity, and striving for excellence have been core values for Kat. She graduated as valedictorian from her high school class and in her early 20s went on to co-found a successful business in the small Kansas town where she grew up. During this time she was also busy earning a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Washburn University Small Business Development Center, studying Accounting and Business Management at Kansas State University, and raising a family.
In 2016 bigger dreams brought Kat to the city of Manhattan and ultimately Heritage Builders. Through her leadership on the Heritage team, she hopes to cultivate a company culture than is about so much more than just work. It is her goal to help people find their places in meaningful roles where they can better themselves and their community, all while creating an outstanding experience for their customers.
Outside of work, Kat most enjoys spending time with her best friend and husband, Logan, and their four children. They can often be found enjoying the great outdoors, traveling, cooking, playing sports and games, reading, gardening, crafting, and exploring life together.
Chad Wiese is a Remodeling Division Manager and also a licensed General Contractor here at Heritage Builders. He graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College with a degree in carpentry and is a valuable member of the Heritage Builders team. Chad has always enjoyed working with his hands and is following in his grandfather’s footprints by joining the construction field. He grew up in the small town of Linn, Kansas and currently resides in St. George, Kansas. Chad brings a great work ethic and quality workmanship to the team here at Heritage.
He especially enjoys meeting and working with the clients and insuring that the building process goes smoothly and accurately on each project. Chad and his wife, Ashtyn, recently welcomed their little girl into the world. They enjoy spending time with their dog, Mya, and cheering on the K-State wildcats.
Ron DeChant is an Owner and General Contractor of Heritage Builders. Ron grew up as a middle child in a family of four children. His parents moved his family to the small Kansas town of Onaga at a young age to pursue the family’s desire to raise their children away from the hustle and bustle of big city life in Denver, Colorado. Whether it was working in the yard or the garage with his father as a young kid, or working in the school wood shop for hours on end, Ron has always loved working with his hands and knew he wanted to use his skills to build dreams for others.
Ron graduated from Onaga High School in 1998, and after long and hard consideration, he decided not to attend Pitt State University. Instead, he chose to stay closer to home and his mother, and started working for himself doing small remodeling and framing jobs. In 2003 Ron teamed up with Heritage Builders and became a partner in the business. After years of building custom homes, spec homes, and doing contract framing and trimming, Ron saw the need for a reliable and trustworthy remodeling contractor in the Manhattan community and set out to become the very best in the area.
Family is the most import thing in Ron’s life and he has been blessed with a very supportive wife, Samantha, and their beautiful children, Penny and Everett. Ron and his family love being outdoors, camping, fishing, and cheering on the Wildcats! For Ron, Heritage is more than just a construction company. It is a family, a team, and a lifestyle. Heritage Builders is a company that is built on trust, reliability, hard work, and commitment to giving every customer their very best.
